Anxiety is like an thrilling fear of the unknown! Fear is actually a phenomenal ally. Remember when we were children, we learned to be cautious of things like power cords, the fire on the stove, sharp objects—anything that could be dangerous if not handled properly. But when this fear ramps up to the point where it shakes up our daily life and gets in the way of our work or relationships, that's when it becomes a challenge.

Author and comedic writer Erma Bombeck brilliantly put it, "Anxiety is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere!" Isn't that spot on? So many people spend their entire lives tangled up in worry about what might happen. They constantly imagine the worst, yet they're so paralyzed by fear that they never actually take action. But here's the kicker—a research study by Cornell University in August 2024 revealed that a whopping 85% of the things we worry about never even happen! Can you believe it? With all this needless worry, we're stuck in a never-ending cycle that feels impossible to escape. Let's break free!

There are countless exciting ways to tackle anxiety! The first move? ACTION! Take any step that can break you free from that relentless cycle. Ever heard someone say, "Don't worry, be happy?" It seems like the moment someone says not to worry, we end up worrying even more, right? Those with anxiety often have an incredible imagination for imagining what might go wrong. So, why not harness that creativity to envision all the amazing things that could go right?
